Furnitures Furnitures Furnitures

Ho Ho Ho !  Have made a bulk purchase at Ikea Tampines last night.  This is thus far my biggest spending at this Sweden furniture mall in my life time.  7 trolleys in total!  I like their readily mix and match, no hassle design, particularly IVAR and BESTA series.  No BILLY though, cause the shelf is not sturdy enough to hold my books and will warp in a few weeks time.

And a huge thank you to the helpful staffs, especially to Rax and KYHC-022. Without them, I wonder how am I going to pick and push them to the counter to make payment, let alone going to another section for delivery arrangement.

Reno @ New Flat

08.01.2014 - partition

11.01.2014 - clean kitchen
Oh Mind! Look at the oil residue on the panel of the cooker hood.  I suspect the past owner never clean it at all. I was glad that I have spent $30 plus for a good Multi-Purpose Detergent (MPD) which can really remove the thick & sticky oil layer.

13-14.01.2014 - Electrical Wiring, Change & Install Socket Points

14.01.2014 - Ceiling Painting

15.01.2014 - Faith Coat for Toilets
Love it. No hacking at all.  Save me time and cost to do an overhaul.

17.01.14 - Floor Polishing

20 - 23.01.2014 - Paint all walls, door frames and doors

22.01.2014 - Install Ceiling Lights

26.01.2014 - Delivery of Refrigerator

Let's forget about crime and eat fries

Finished reading this old fiction last night.

A battle of the sexes? Could be fun.

This thriller centers on genetic engineering. By the year 2008, violent crime attains epidemic levels all over the world. FBI Director Madeline Taylor wants to end the geometric rise in violence. The first female head of the bureau turns to her friend Alice Prince, the force behind the third largest biotech firm ViroVector in the nation. Working with scientist Kathy Kerr, Alice has isolated and lessened the impact of the male aggressive genes, making the male species less prone to violence. The FDA approves testing the process on humans, but unknown to Kathy, Alice and Madeline have already illegally tested on the species for almost a decade. A stunned Kathy learns the truth and plans to blow the whistle. However, they kidnap her instead. Her former lover FBI agent Luke Decker manages to rescue her only to learn that her two abductors have other more diabolical plans for the serum coded Crime Zero Phase 3, which will illuminate all post-pubertal male species on earth within 3 years and at the same time re-engineer the DNA of pre-pubertal male kids to a more subtle, less violent person.

One day, yes, one day I will try out the recipes.

After my medical checkup early morning, I quickly went to this restaurant to have a sumptuous breakfast.  I was famished.

Lust, Betrayal, Secrets, Murder

This is another book that I have forgotten its existence.  It was not bought for me in the first place.

Flipped through the first chapter, I figured that it does not suit me at the present moment.  Too dense and old English to my liking.  May be later.

An Instance of The Fingerpost

Besides its brothers and sisters, I have got it from my BF.  Lovely.

See how it illuminates the small fan sit next to it.
