Sunset Moment

I kept looking at the beautiful, candy floss-like cloud.
Unfortunately, my mobile couldn't capture the details.  The fluffy, spongy layerings in bright orange were simply missing from the shots.  If I have an DSLR at hand .....

Still, it is lovely.

The Past Week .....

Henry the Fifth proposing to the French king's daughter,
making his case for long love lasting beyond youth to flourish in old age.

Finished reading Hamlet's Dresser by Bob Smith on Monday night.  The author tells his own story of a life shaped by Shakespeare's works weaving together the stories of his bittersweet, troubled childhood, his poignant experiences with the old people, and dozens of illuminating passages and scenes from Shakespeare's plays.  Shahespeare's fans will find it delightful.

Thursday.  Around 5pm.
Saw this shadow cast on the sliding door. A nice little distraction after full-day of neck-wrecking stare on the screen with skins and hairs.  Not in a good mood really.  Been pissed off by clients' frequent-minded and meaningless changes.

TGIF.
This land cruiser parked outside my office was damn cool.  If i got driving licence ......
It did remind me of my childhood. My dad used to drive such heavy-duty rugged vehicle, especially when travelling to KK from Sandakan which took about 8 hrs one way and needed to climb hills. His usual baby, a white beetle won't make it.

I.K.E.A

Going to IKEA, most of the time, is not about buying new furnitures and other lovely thingy. It is for the food there, such as my son's favourite Swedish Meatball, chicken wings, Gravad Lax Plate (Salmon), hotdog and to me, the free flow 50-cents black coffee is a must.

Around Red Dot Museum

Having a relax stroll around this museum is a nice after-lunch activity if got time.  Even more better if can take a little nap on the swing at the Telok Ayer Park across the road.

Paulo Coelho's Adultery

Plot [Wikipedia]

A woman around her thirties begins to question the routine and predictability of her days. In everybody’s eyes, she has a perfect life: a solid and stable marriage to a rich and loving husband, sweet and well-behaved children and a job as a journalist she can't complain about. However, she can no longer bear the necessary effort to fake happiness when all she feels in life is an enormous apathy, boredom and depression. All that changes when she encounters an ex-boyfriend from her adolescence. Jacob is now a successful politician and, during an interview, he ends up arousing something in her she hadn’t felt for a long time: passion. They begin an affair which leads to brutal, S/M sex that she finds very exciting. She will now do anything to conquer that impossible love, and will have to go down to the pit of human emotions to finally find her redemption.

So much about the plot.

This self absorbed woman who has everything has gone bored and depressed of all the goodness, and has to have her cheap kicks in the form of blow jobs anal sex which she didn't enjoy. Or did she?

A love story ? Nope. I don't believe so. All is her imagination and worst, hallucination. No concern for anyone but herself and a willingness to destroy another woman's life in such a 'stupid' way to get what she wanted but didn't need to do so eventually as she got whatever it was she was after. Of course, the husband found out the affair.

Actually I secretly wished she would get caught with the Cocaine on hand, learnt her stupidness in jail and made her redemption.

It is not a story about love.
Want to find love? Learn how to love? Feel loved? You don't seek an affair with someone whose only purpose in life is to screw women around wherever he goes! The end feels SOOOO unconvincing.

Labour's Day - to work or not to work ?

Yes.  Got to make full use of these valuable 3 days (holiday & weekends) to clear my household thingy which have been dragged for a while.

First day,  I had again bleached and dyed my hair. it took 3 hours plus. Finished up my Manga reading as well.
Second day, spring cleaned the whole house, serviced the air-cons and replaced the lock of the metal gate.
Tomorrow planning to do some patch works on the ceilings.
