My Queenstown Heritage Trail

Rarely Wake up early morning on a Sunday .... Need a bit of determination to get up and a strong coffee to boost.
Joined the Tanglin Halt and Margaret Drive guided tour organised by My Community through on Sunday morning, from 8:30 am till 12pm, total three and a half hours walk.  It was an enjoyable and relaxing walk indeed.
Reflected on the glass are the 30 to 40-storey Forfar Heights cluster that replaced the former 14-storey Forfar House.

The library has a cozy and quiet reading room at second floor overlooking the lovely exterior greenery.

There is a spice garden at the back too.

Situated next to the library is the former Queenstown Polyclinic.

let's go go go

This uncle must be damn tired 😅
I love the matching Colours of his shirt and the recycled bin.
Coming next is Queenstown Sport Complex .....

I like the unique design of this flat, So neat looking.
Blessed Sacrament Church at the junction of Commonwealth Drive and Tanglin Halt Road
Next to the church is Sri Muneeswaran Temple

Passing the nearby basketball court, we were on our way to Wessex Estate .....
Oh Romeo, my Romeo, where are you?
Yay! Stopped at Colbar Cafe to enjoy a bottle of ice-cold beer before continuing the tour.

The tour ended at Tanglin Halt Market, and I highly recommend anyone to have lunch there.  So many delicious foods to choose from.

As you can see, long-queue for this laksa store. I'd waited about 30 mins for my turn.  Wow! It was delish, definitely worth the wait.

These workers were hard at work on Sunday.

What a wonderful day!

Time to go home and nap nap.
