Apps : Paper Artist

An interesting app which suddenly appeared on my Samsung mobile.  Can't even recall when did I download it.  It is fun to play with though.
Love the effects.

CNY

Home Sweet Home !

Been back to Singapore for 2 weeks plus.  Busy busy busy. Partially due to CNY, but mostly are works. Alas !  Need to find time for my beloved incredible.

Went to the Indian Temple at Pagoda Street on 13 Feb 2013 with friends from Indonesia.

Delort's Ink & Scratchboard Illustrations

Thanks to Thisiscolossal's intro.  Love these evocative and splendid illustrations by artist Nicolas Delort who lives and works in Paris.  Remind me of my all-time favorite artist Gustave Doré.

Like what Chris said, hopefully someone will hire him to illustrate a graphic novel. Me too. Will definitely wait in line to purchase.

Do go to his site to have a better look. There are more with close-up for details.  His sketches are pretty good as well.

Explored Books

Who says books are only meant for reading ?  Just take a look.

“All of my books are folded, never cut or glued, into my own designs. I try to find books that have been cast off, have lost their value as readable material and give them a second life as a small work of art,”  states the artist from the Exploded Library.

She is currently one of the featured sellers on vandm.com.  So can go purchase such beautifully folded, one-of-a-kind book.
