My Bangkok Trip : The Most Exciting Moment

A big joke.

The story:
Since my previous trip in June and the SCOOT flight from SIN-BKK were all departed and arrived in Don Muang airport, so automatically I presumed that the return flight should be the same. My bad!

I hired a GrabTaxi from Ibis Siam to Don Muang airport and reached there less than an hour which was 17:00.  Our flight departure time was at 19:40. Since the information on the flight departure tracker board was only up to 18:25, it's still too early to check-in, we went to have some light meals.

An hour later, we looked at the tracker board again which was already updated up to 20:00 but still couldn't see our flight. Then I sensed something was wrong.

About going to ask at the information counter, I took out the printed copy of my flight itinerary details and immediately I saw Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi). Shit!!!

We quickly rushed outside and luckily we managed to grab a taxi to Suvarnabhumi airport at 18:10. The whole trip was pretty intense, the driver tried his best to rush through the traffic jam, and we both have the Google Maps GPS navigation on to check the time. I was already thinking just in case we really missed the flight, should we spend a night there at Novotel Airport Hotel or purchase tickets for Jetstar's 21:20 flight? In the midst of all these, I still get some mind to admire the beautiful orangey full moon.

I even prayed for flight delay.  So you could imagine how excited for me to find out that there was indeed flight delay when we reached Suvarnabhumi airport at 19:04. Wow! It was delayed from 19:40 to 20:20 then extended to 21:30.  And one more good news - the counters would be opened for checkin at 19:15. Thus we're early.

This the first time we're wholeheartedly happy for flight delay.

Ice-Creams @Mo & Moshi, Siam Center.

We're so addicted to these crispy silkworms that we bought three packages per flavor.

The decor of this red velvet cake from Starbucks reminded us of our home ......and yes, we're on our way back soon.

My Bangkok Trip : 3rd Night (21 Dec 2018)

The sun was setting. We're stuck in the traffic jam on the way to Chang Chui. It took almost an hour from Ibis Siam.

What're we having? 😁😁😁

The ambient.

The menu. Ta-Da!

The place : Insect In The Backyard.

Verdict? Crunchy, tasty and yummy. Amazing fine dining experience. Highly recommended.

Around Chang Chui .....
The dog looks even more hungry. Pity.
