It reminds me there is Da Vinci: Shaping The future exhibit at ArtScience Museum which will run till May 2015.  Highly recommended by my sis and friends, I should go visit one day.

Jap Stab Binding

A Bookbinding Cause : Exposed Japanese Stab Binding Workshop @ The Arts House, 2 to 7pm

Having fun learning the craft, though fingers aching afterwards as I have to use quite a bit of milk power to pull the needle through the holes. ^-^

Produced two notebooks - one softcover and one hardcover.

This is called KangXi 康熙 binding. Interesting.....

Going to sign up the other bookbinding workshops, especially the Coptic Binding which is the most difficult to make.  Challenging!

 √Wow! Saw this cool Monster 24K DJ headphone on display at the ground floor. Guest it must have cost a bomb.

Watched 2 movies at one go - first BlackHat, then The Theory of Everything. Plan to watch Taken3 and Parasyte Part 1 the next night.

ITE Digital Animation Classroom

Last Friday, with ample time idling, hanging around while waiting for my incredible who was taking his interview cum admission drawing test at the beautiful ITE HQ, I took this series of B&W images using my favourite mobile app PowerCam.

The slicing effects were done in Photoshop, of course.

Received the good news this morning.  His application is successful.  Hooray !!!  Classes starting this coming Thursday.  So excited for him, from boy to teenager now.
