Finished it within 2 nights after watching Maze Runner 2 : The Scorch Trials. Well, simply couldn't wait.  Though I do not have any intention to be a spoiler.  So let's just wait for the final movie. Next year, may be?

Boven Kamers

Came across this cleverly and beautifully bound pop-up book about human brain by bookbinder Ben from Elbe Libro Bookbinding.

"It took about a year and the result is a series of ‘T’ elements made from heavy paper, sewn with one another. The folios are inserted between each T and secured only at the fore-edge. "

Boven Kamers is a collaborative Dutch pop-up book between neuroscientist Gerard J. Boer, professor Harry B.M. Uijlings, paper artist Ingrid Siliakus and graphic designer Moon Brouwer. The book contains a total of six laser cut pop-up spreads which send the reader on a tour through the human brain and its functions. Printed in a limited edition of 50, each book is numbered and signed.

Gold ATM

Good to have a dinner gathering with long-time-no-see friend & her aunt to catch up a little.

We happened upon this gleaming Smart Gold ATM @Takashimaya.  Didn't know that one can purchase gold in such a way.  Found out later that these machines, the other two in Resorts World Sentosa  and Marine Bay Sands, are custom built to dispense a variety of pure gold items, ranging from one to ten gram pure gold bars, customised gold coins and even silver ingots.

Most of the items are sold out. Wow!
