Instead of going for staycation, we agreed to spend the amount to buy Hot Toys' figurines - My boy get a Avengers: Endgame-1/6th scale Iron Patriot and I myself get the 1/6th scale Neon Tech Iron Man 4.0 (Toy Fair Exclusive). I also ought quite a few tiny collectables.

Comic Con (SGCC) 2022

2 weeks after AFA, here came Comic Con 2022.

At the time of writing, this 'white' Breakout by Matt Bailey were already sold out.  But I've pre-ordered the Spectre edition. Yay!

Now Mighty Jaxx has also ventured into Metaverse, aptly named MightyVerse. 😮 May be I should try it out later.

The highlight of this year was that the famed godfather of Hong Kong comics, Tony Wong 黃玉郎  was here to hold a very special original art exhibition as well as meet and greet sessions with fans. We're busy exploring at the artist alley and missed the session, but when we saw the original art pieces (SGD7200 ea) around 6pm, they're all sold out. Superb!

AFA Singapore 2022

The physical Anime Festival Asia aka AFA (25-27 Nov) was finally back after missing for 2 years during Covid-19 pandemic. Not surprise that the event halls were extremely crowded with anime fans.

We went on Saturday around 1pm but unfortunately the day entry tickets were all sold out. We queued for an hour to purchase next day (Sun) tickets instead.

On Sunday. Here we were.

Don't look down on this IKEA bag. It held the $1800++ A3 posters, postcards and other goodies that we bought.
