Out of the blue, the door lock simply stuck. I was locked inside my room. Shouted with my lung a feew times, the 2 fellows in the house simply didn't hear me. Gosh! I wanna faint. So I called the house landline to get their attention. After my son struggled to knock off the lock with a wrench and even tried to bang open the wooden door but without much success, I gave up as it's so hard to instruct him where to get my tools inside the storeroom, I decided to call a locksmith to come down.

In the midst of texting my address to the locksmith , my mum suddenly suggested to get our neighbour's son for help. 

With the help of hammer, wrench and spanner, he managed to dismantle the lock and remove the knob. With singer oil and some brute force to pry open using the slotted screwdriver that  passed to me tthrough the hole,  I was finally released. Sweat! 😅

Though there is quit a few ugly scratches and dents on the door and the frame. Anyway, I'm planning yo reapint them after the upcoming HIP.

I've hired Botak Locksmith to install a new lock the next day.

Bought this Magnetic Screen Door  ($17+) from Shopee. The quality is good, it definitely helps to reduce the sound and dust during HIP.
