1st Day (30 Apr) - The hacking day
Besides laying a layer of plastic corrugated board and then a layer of rubber floor mat on the floor, the contractor also mounted up such anti-dust protection covers all over the place to reduce dust and noise.
The contractor had also installed a temporary pipe to the kitchen basin so we got water to use/wash things during these 10 days.
Me and my boy just stayed inside my room with the door close all day. In fact, the hacking and drilling noise wasn't that unbearable, we still could sleep and had a good nap in the afternoon. Didn't feel any shaking. A good sign to tell that the flat's structure is solid.
2nd Day (2 May)
New switches for water heater. The windows were also up.
3rd Day (3 May)
Non-shrink grout applied, Refuse chute hopper was replaced.
4th Day (4 May)
Applied 2 coats of water-proofing membrane and non-shrink ghout afterwards to protect the membranes.
5th Day (6 May)
Water test.
6th Day (7 May)
Wall plastering.
7th Day (8 May)
Wall tiling. Replaced of main entrance gate.
8th Day (9 May)
Wall and floor tiling. Replaced of main entrance door.
9th Day (10 May)
Installation of sanitary fittings, basin, pedestal pan, grab bar, bi-fold doors.
10th Day (11 May) - Final Day
Final touch up and cleaning. Final inspection. Yay!
Yellow, Green, Black & White ...... nice combination.
