Architour on 14 Jul

Joined Architour 3 on a Sunday. It piqued my interest when I first learnt that this building ALEMEMTUM at One North, is dedicated to biomedical research. Pretty high-tech inside ... QR Code gate entry, touch screen display for elevators, face recognition door locks for every room. But unfortunately we can't visit any of the research lab. I only knew that Synapxe itself already has taken up 2nd-7th floors. I like the foyer which was breezy, even when outside was scorchingly hot and the duct fans were not operating.
There is a roof garden at the 4th floor.
The surrounding is also nice with connection to cycling path.
Famed Pumpkin by Yayoi Kusama.
Statue by Fernando Botero

2nd Location - Villa Urbano
Beautiful house with a spacious living room at the 2nd level with a swimming pool. There is a lot of greenery around the house.

The only thing that not so ideal was the timing. The tour started at 11:30. For us, we had our brekkie by 10:30 as we needed approx an hour MRT journey to reach the meeting point. By the time the tour ended and we're back to the meeting point, it was already 15:30. A not here not there time to have lunch/dinner and to make it worst, quite a few of the restaurants were closed at this hour. Anyway, we're famished and die die need to eat. Eventually we walked over to Guoco Tower to have our late meal at the Spanish restaurant, Pura Brasa.

The foods were satisfying though.
