Slovenia-based photographer Matej Peljhan recently shot a 12 years old boy named Luka who suffers from muscular dystrophy doing things he dreams about doing but his degenerative condition simply won't allow him to. Like playing basketball, skateboarding, diving or even climbing stairs.
The photographer used sheets and other props as a backdrop and shot Luka act out the motion lying on the ground.
Besides reminding us the debilitating nature of muscular dystrophy, this photo series also help us to remember that how precious life is and to appreciate what we have. We should be grateful.
