It is a jinx. When things started to malfunction, as if in cue, they would like to come hand in hand.
Within a month, I have the following spoilt 'brats' biting me one after another :
- Oh! My dear Wacom tablet. The pen became sticky, slow mo and even hanged my system whenever it was plug in. Removal and reload of drivers didn't solve the problem. Guess it is time for a replacement. Alas ! Anyway, I am going to dismantle it and take out the circuit board for display, likes its predecessor.
- The AM/FM antenna of my Nakamichi SoundSpace 1 finally passed away. Pity that while it was alive, I could only receive Class 95FM from my flat. My Suck UK cardboard FM Radio & MP3 player can receive far more fm frequencies. So I won't miss it. Though the sound quality of course fares much better than the porta radio.
- Internet down is definitely devastating nowsaday. My 2-years old Aztech Ethernet Adaptor gone down as well. First thought was network down, using my Samsung S3 wifi and a 10-meters Ethernet cable directly plugged to my Mac confirmed otherwise. Haizz ….. Spent SGD95 to buy a new set of TP-Link AV500Gb Powerline Adapter (TL-PA511KIT) which comes with 3-years warranty.
- My Fujitsu A/C remote controller. How I wish the aircon has buttons, at least gives me an alternative to switch on and off, may be adjusting the temperature as well. Luckily I managed to get an universal A/C remote controller specially for Fujitsu A/C from the DIY shop nearby. It works fine and case close.
That's it. You all RIP. I hope no more. Fingers cross.
