Thursday & Friday


A farewell lunch at So Pho, a cosy Vietnamese restaurant @Vivocity, for our colleague who will be on her sabbatical leave till end of year. So good.





Seeing the same message twice, I guess I should eat more 'good' foods then.

After accompanying my boy for the course and career counselling at 3dsense, we went to nearby TCC for an early and quiet lunch avoiding the usual office lunch crowd @Central.

Before and On Singapore National Day


Having KFC Grilled Chicken for Countdown. Not bad ya.


The next day was family lunch gathering @The Masses.
Fusion styles from starters and main courses, every dish was full of surprises.


Pumpkin soap - pickled pumpkin, cocoa cream, croutons, chives.
Pan seared Foie Gras - french brioche, white peach purée, chocolate crémeux, chives.


Today's special - rojak with octopus.


Grilled Avocado - kaffir lime yogurt, pineapple salsa, burnt pineapple.


C&C&C&C Pasta - crabmeat, caviar, clams, chorizo, lobster bisque.
Duck Confit - rice noodles, wild mushrooms, mirabelle plum vinaigrette.


The Egg - house chips, ikura, ebiko, beurre noisette, chive oi, pickled shallots.
Chicken Breast - truffle mash, parma ham, summer vegetables, albufera sauce.


Sweet endings - Brioche Chocolate Pudding & Mango Kombucha Popsicle.

Two days @Japan Park Singapore

Yesterday Queen Ramen was a luxurious serving of Japanese oyster confit, thick slices of Kagoshima's famed black pork, mussels steamed in premium sake, crispy scallop fritters and topped with creamy egg yolk and Japanese seaweed.  The broth was definitely tasty. 
We too enjoyed these delectable Cheese ice-creams from Japan.

Today’s King Ramen is a level up. Soup base is made with Tonkotsu broth and mushrooms. Ingredients include Kagoshima Wagyu beef Sukiyaki, Matsutake mushroom, sauteed mushroom, truffle and onsen egg. Yes! Real truffle slices here. 😋



After lunch dessert is Blueberry Mochi.  Fruity and refreshing. Thumbs up!
