Architours 2019 - Tour 6

The first stop was a semi-detached at Japan Kembangan. Besides the “flipped” design to block the noise from heavy traffic and the west sun, I like the idea that all toilets/ bathrooms in three storeys are in semi open concept which connected to the patio ..... can see the plants, the sky, and whatnot. No worry, one can lower down the blind if shy. ☺️

Interesting and innovative design.

The perforated aluminium screens which took a year to finalise actually provide shading, views and at the same time privacy, and ventilation.

The ambient is really nice and soothing indoor.

The last stop of the tour.

Mediterranean cuisines and beers were offered to the group FOC.

Wow! What can I say? I will definitely come back for the foods. It just happened that the restaurant was closed for wedding event that particular night. πŸ˜“

After the tour .....

Dinner at Aburi-En @Vivocity.
The Premium Buta Bara Don (chestnut-fed pork belly) was superb.
The expertly cooked pork belly is coated in a specially made sauce, and exudes a slight smokiness from the grilling. With its alternating layers of meat and fat, the belly strip turns out chewy and tender. The Wagyu Karubi Don for my boy tasted good too.
