Not bad to be here in the morning. Less crowd means I can explore the place in a slower pace.

When I saw this Sa Tae Bak (三疊肉) signage, it reminded me a book - Willis's Singapore Guide by A.C. Willis, 1936
"Satai" I am given to understand was introduced into this country by the Chinese, the word being spelt "Satae," meaning three pieces of meat. This dish soon found favour with the Javanese, and then the Malays and is also known by the name "Daging Bakar" (meaning-toasted meat.)
In short, he meant "Satay" was derived from the Hokkien sa tae bak (三疊肉) . Interesting.
DUO Tower - Nice structural buildings
