Joined the above-captioned trail organised by Temasek Rural Exploring Enthusiasts. I'd been in and out this area for 7 years since my ex-company was there, I could never say that I really know the area inside out. So I was glad to visit new places and learn something new. A big thank you to Alan, Harry and Tuah for being the guides.

We started out from Telok Ayer MRT Station to Nagore Dargah 纳宫神社, an Indian Muslim heritage centre, which is quite diversified, with many other races/dialects featured as well. There is a spice museum too.
Then Thian Hock Keng Temple 天福宮 next.
From Telok Ayer Street to Ann Siang Hill .....

My Awesome Cafe aka Chung Hwa Free Clinic Cafe to many, one of the cafe I wanna try out the food and yet to.
From Ann Siang Hill walking towards Tanjong Pagar, The Pinnacle@Duxton.

The Jinrikisha Station was first built in 1903 as a registration center for rickshaws. Also an old central depot for one of Singapore’s earliest form of public transports, its name reflects the utility of the building. In Japanese, Jinrikisha means “human-powered vehicle”. Today, the Jinrikisha Station houses various offices and establishments. This building is currently owned by Jackie Chan, the famous Hong Kong martial artist cum actor. He bought the building in 2007 for a hefty sum of $11 million!

Built in 1924, this three-storey building at 89 Neil Road used to house the Eng Aun Tong factory where home-brand, Tiger Balm 虎標萬金油 was made! Known for its healing properties, this tiny wonder balm is a menthol-based formula that reportedly cures everything from headaches to sprains and discomfort. Anyway there will be a Shake Shack here. So no need to queue at the one in Changi Jewel.

Duxton Plain Park

The last surviving tomb of a former cemetery, a Muslim tomb – said to be the tomb of Sharifah Rogahyah, the granddaughter of Habib Noh – A famous 19th century saint.

Old tree and man at the park just outside The Pinnacle.

Finally went up to the rooftop to have a peep for an entrance fee of $6 paid at level 1, Block 1G. The sky is hazy though.
The last stop was Masjid Haji Muhammed Salleh that sits atop Mount Palmer, one of several hills lining the shore at Tanjong Malang.
Visit https://stateofbuildings.sg/ for the background stories of the mosque.
