Charting Your Life
Are you an obsessive person who keeps track of every tiny little details of your personal life eg. your daily routines, where you spend your money, your daily food (calories) consumption, how many mileages travelled in a year, blah blah blah blah. Now you can do it artistically. New york based graphic designer, Nicholas Felton has co-started a website Daytum which allows you to generate your personal statistics into some sexy data, infographic-style. The one I'm much interested in making is on how much it costs me to raise my son, like the sample shown below. Haha! I'm going to show him when he turns 20.

The artist has in fact gone many steps further. Since 2005, Nicholas had compiled the quirky details of his life into many very attractive graphs, charts, maps and tabular information reflecting the travel, photography, music, food, drink and reading contained in the year, which he calls "Annual Reports" . Looking at these statistical chunks, you gain a sort of rare insight into his life.
For instance, by the end of 2007, he'd played 25,247 tracks on his itunes. he had also travelled 57,533 airmiles and 3,221 railmiles.

Very inspiring uses of charts, graphs and maps.
